We got a kitchen!!
I know originally we said we were just going to leave the kitchen the way it is and live with it - however, we scored this really cute kitchen from offerup for just $50 and I'm really excited for it to be done! It's a slow process because I have no idea how to install cabinets and Damien is always at work, but here is a few photos of what it looks like so far. We started with the upper cabinets. We definitely should have painted them first, but we started painting after they were hung. Next time.Here are a few before we started painting them:

We had to primer everything first. The gray outside color was a mis-tint I found for $10/gallon and the same with the white (which is actually called "whipping cream") I never thought I would have a preference of the type of white, but this one is definitely a lot nicer than regular old white.
Next step is to put in the bottom ones and find a real counter top instead of the makeshift one we are using now. I am hoping over the holiday weekend that Damien has enough time off to get them all installed.
