A little progress every day adds up to big results

We are back to working on our house as much as we can. We made some great progress cleaning up all the plaster through the downstairs and things are looking better. We are hoping in the next week or so to be moving on to the upstairs.  On top of demo and cleaning we are also in the process of getting quotes and working out our budget trying to figure out what we can afford and how soon.  When the demo is complete we will start running the new electric (boring) and then move on to insulation (boring) and drywall (also boring).  It's been great to see some progress lately after it sat for quite some time.

Here is how it looked after Damien knocked down all the walls and ceilings...

Here's how it looks now that I became the job foreman.

The kitchen had a bunch of junk and trash in it so today I worked on trying to get it cleaned up before we tear it out.

On the right of the bottom photo you can kind of see all the trim. Damien hopes to be able to reuse it when we get to that point.

We haven't done anything to the upstairs yet but I've had some requests for photos of it so here it is. It's three bedrooms and one bath. The bathrooms are surprisingly large for being built in 1907.
